Mezzo-soprano Monika-Evelin Liiv (Finnish National Opera, London Covent Garden, Estonian National Opera), Dmitry Pavlov (Finnish National Opera) on piano.

Estonian and Italian romantic music will be performed - Saar, Kapp, Türnpuu, Tosti, Respighi and others.

Mezzo-soprano Monika-Evelin Liiv’s singing career began through the Jette Parker Young Soloists Program of the Royal London Opera. Today, in addition to the Estonian National Opera, her home stages include the Finnish National Opera and London’s Covent Garden. She has also performed in South Africa, Costa Rica, Sri Lanka and France’s Opera de Bauge. Liiv’s stage partners have been Anna Netrebko, Jonas Kaufmann and Dmitri Hvorostovski. In addition to her spectacular opera roles, the singer is valued as a sensitive oratorio soloist and chamber musician. Monika-Evelin Liiv has received the annual award from the Sound Arts Endowment Fund of the Estonian Cultural Foundation for outstanding opera roles on international opera stages as well as for solo performances at home and abroad.
