The exhibition is dedicated to the beliefs and aesthetic sense of our ancestors. The display provides an opportunity to reflect on what it means to be Estonian, how to keep in touch with our roots and to preserve our unique traditions in the contemporary world of ever- changing and blending identities. The figurative language and the colors and patterns of Estonian folk culture are embedded in the aesthetic sense of modern artists, proving that the centuries-old Estonian style is alive.
