  • The Foundation for Estonian Arts and Letters 243 East 34th Street New York, NY, 10016 (map)

Markus Puskar is a self-taught artist whose work is influenced by folk and outsider art. His paintings and drawings take viewers on a visual journey, where organic forms and movement create a unique rhythm and energy. In addition to being an artist, Markus works as a social worker and serves on the board of Joy’s Kitchen, a food rescue organization.

In 2023, he created Candy Jail, an audio documentary series for KGNU Boulder/Denver, exploring how commercialism has transformed the food system.

📅 November 2024 – His solo exhibition "The Age of Re-Enchantment" opened at Leon Gallery, Denver.

📅 April 2025 – Markus Puskar's solo exhibition will be showcased at the New York Estonian Cultural Days, bringing his vibrant and thought-provoking artwork to a wider audience!  Don’t miss the chance to experience his powerful work, reminiscent of the dynamic energy of the Italian Futurist movement.
